Note! There is so much to see & explore – not just on our doorstep but within a short journey of Medieval Carlingford that we encourage you in our pricing to stay more than one night….stay more than one night, eat one night & save on accommodation! The longer you stay…..the more you’ll save!
More than 2 in a bedroom? ….we have bedrooms with; King + single bed, Queen + bunk bed, King + Queen bed + single bunk above. €40 per night, per person over 5yrs for 3rd/4th/5th person in a room – which includes breakfast. Dinner is always charged separate to package rate on 3rd/4th/5th person.
We’ll be closed Tuesday 31st December, Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd January 2025 and Monday 13th to Wednesday 29th January inclusive 2025 for more upgrades.
And if you’re flying from Dublin Airport – we’re just an easy 65 minutes away – so stay with us on your 1st or last few nights!
We are just a tree length away from other places to explore in Medieval Carlingford.
We offer a very simple cancellation system – if you wish to book (& you are not a group) – book with confidence & pay nothing now – your credit/debit card details are used just to hold the booking – have a break to look forward to and if you (or us) needs to cancel – then that’s fine – we’re not interested in charging you for not coming to Ghan House!
We accept Blue Book, Good Food Ireland & Dundalk ‘Shop Local’ Vouchers – just bring them with you!

For midweek;- Accommodation & breakfast or Accommodation, breakfast & dinner packages – with discount on accommodation, can be booked directly with Ghan House above/below.
For weekends; – Friday and/or Saturday – We do allow a one night stay with dinner included (we do not offer accommodation only on 1 night weekend).
Because there is so much to see & experience here & around Medieval Carlingford we offer a discount when you stay 2 nights; Friday & Saturday 2 night package which includes dinner one night & breakfast both mornings.
On Booking.com – as we only have 11 bedrooms, once we get to nearly full (and certainly every Friday & Saturday) Booking.com will show that we are full when in fact we are not. So always check direct with Ghan House for availability and for the best prices on dinner & accommodation packages – which are not available on Booking.com!
Get away & relax with large dining rooms – the Drawing Room for evening dining & Ballroom for breakfast – both with high ceilings.
